Over the last few years, satisfied clients have posted testimonials about their tour experiences with me (Mainor Lara
Bustos) on both “Trip Advisor” (Traveler Reviews and Forums) & “Debbie’s Caribbean Resort”( Reviews & Forums).
I would like to personally thank everyone for their kind words, and share some excerpts from these testimonials.
Enjoy!

“I used Tours Your Way (Mainor Lara) to travel from Papagayo to Arenal (then actually stayed overnight and did Monteverde
the next day. Mainor provided us (party of 2) with a great 2 days, customized completely to our choosing. I would HIGHLY
recommend him and his prices are VERY competitive. His sense of humor is really good, he is Costa Rican with exceptional
English, and he knows how to keep his tourists happy.”

We just returned from Costa Rica and also hired Mainor for an overnight tour to Arenal and Monteverde. This was a "mom and
teen daughter" trip.
I agree that Mainor's english is very good and his sense of humor is excellent! My daughter and I felt very comfortable and
safe with him. He is an excellent driver. As a father of two teenagers he related incredibly well to my daughter, and it wasn't
long before they were teasing each other.
We learned so much about Costa Rica. His tour for us was absolutely "OUR WAY", as we did 5 extra stops at our request that
were not originally on our tour plan. We squeezed ALOT into 2 days, but never felt rushed. Mainor also knew the best places to
stop for meals and they were included in our tour price.!
His ability to spot wildlife is incredible! He was always willing to stop for a photo or knew the best viewpoints along the
way.
I did have the option to rent and drive from Guanacaste to Arenal and Monteverde on my own. I am very glad that I didn't do
that...he took us to a few "off the beaten path" places we never would have found on our own. Also it was a long, and exhausting
2 days and it was easier to enjoy without the stress of driving. The roads around Arenal and Monteverde are quite treacherous and
in very poor condition. Mainor had rented a beautiful 4X4 for our trip (as one of his other guides was using his vehicle for
another tour), and when we got a flat tire (puncture from a sharp rock), and were stuck without a proper jack, he was able to stop
a passing motorist, borrow the equipment, change the tire and we were on our way in a jiffy...as an English speaking woman this
scenario would have been a nightmare on my own!
If I get back to CR, I would absolutely book Mainor for another excursion. My advice though friends, book early to avoid
disappointment. He is only one man, and one of the best guides around. Surprisingly his cost for us was less than the hotel
was charging for this trip with a busload of tourists.

“My husband and I just got back from Costa Rica and hired Mainor Lara to drive us around the area and also take us on a
few tours. He was AMAZING!!!! He was very responsible and the tours he gave us were top notch.
The prices of the tours were a little bit more than what the hotels offered, but we had our own private tour guide, picked
our itinerary, and tailored it to what we wanted to do. The other tours that we saw were cramped with people and it appeared
more like a herd of sheep than a tour.
Minor's English is incredible which was a big plus as we learned so much about the culture and customs. I highly recommend
him to anyone looking for a more intimate and authentic experience.”

“…We booked a wonderful day tour with Mainor Lara Bustos at www.tours-your-way.com There was only two of us and the price
was comparable to the other tours - but it's private and he can stop and do anything you ask. For example, we ziplined with
only 3 people in total, stopped to buy mangoes, stopped to pick up fresh roasted costa rican coffee, etc. Well worth your
money. Would go again…”

“…I did my research on Trip Advisor as I always do prior to leaving, and found a highly recommended tour guide. His name is
Mainor Lara (www.tours-your-way.com) and he was the best! We booked the Arenal Volcano tour which included the hot springs, the
Mega Combo (zip lining, horseback riding and mud bath) and the Palo Verde National Park tour. He also provided us transportation
to and from the airport. Mainor delivers VIP treatment all the way. He was punctual and accommodated our every wish…even my desire
for souvenirs! He is extremely knowledgeable about the country and its treasures. Meals were provided on his tours and we have to
say they were the best we had during our trip. No boxed lunches here. He took us to some of the most beautiful restaurants with
excellent food and service. He had a fantastic sense of humor and his service was the highlight of our trip to Costa Rica. Villas
Sol doesn’t get a 5 star, but Mainor does!!...”

“…Our group included my husband and 3 children 20, 18 and 16 as well as 2 of their friends. As far as excursions we used
Mainor Lara, with Tours Your Way, for private tours. He really goes above and beyond for his clients. For New Years he took
us to a local rodeo where we were able to get a real local experience. His personal service is what really made our trip.
From the time we landed at the airport until our departure, he was right there for us. He stopped wherever we wanted and
was a great resource. We went white water rafting, zip lining, scuba diving and did an ATV tour. We had a blast! We travel
often and have been on many excursions, I highly recommend using Mainor to make the most of your visit to Costa Rica. Mainor
can be contacted at [-]. If you don't hear from him right away just give him a few days - he is worth the wait.”
